工作證申請新規(guī)定
因應(yīng)部分人力嚴重不足的專業(yè)工作市場，英政府決對非歐盟國家的人民大開方便之門，修改了工作證申請方案 (Work Permit Scheme)以及職業(yè)訓(xùn)練工作方案 (Training and Work Experience Scheme, TWES)，希望能吸引更多外籍專業(yè)人士來英國工作。
其中，TWES須申請另一種工作證(WP2)，它針對專業(yè)人才最不足的行業(yè)，來招募人才。其中如教師等職，都是最近才開放的。
護士，助產(chǎn)士 (Nurse)
顧問醫(yī)師 (Consultant doctors)如: Accident and Emergency medicine, Audiological medicine, Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Diagnostic Radiology (Radiology), Morbid Anatomy and Histopathology, Nuclear medicine, Occupational medicine, Old Age Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic Surgery (Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery), Paediatrics, Palliative medicine, Radiotherapy (Clinical Oncology), Urology。
電子工程業(yè) (ELECTRONIC and OPTO-ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING), 如Cellular phone systems development, Design and development of electronic systems with embedded software, Integrated Circuit Design, Opto-electronics, Photonics, Radio Frequency and Microwave System and Component Design, Systems integration, Telecommunications systems development, Video and audio systems development。
信息科技工作者和通訊電子業(yè)者，如 Analyst Programmer, Business Analyst, Database Specialist, IT Manager, Network Specialist, Software Engineer
