            Television
Television presents a vivid world in front of us.1(主題句) Through TV, we can learn what is happening half way across the world.
Television also plays an important educational role in our daily life.3(主題句) For one thing, the TV university provides an opportunity for people who can not go to formal university.4(擴展句) For another, children can broaden their scope of knowledge by watching such popular programs as “The Animal World” and “The Mickey Mouse and DuckDonald”.5(擴展句) Besides, women can learn about the latest fashion of dresses and the best recipe for making fruit cakes.6(擴展句) Furthermore, we can learn many world advanced technologies from TV programs.7(擴展句) And also we can learn singing, dancing and doing physical exercise in some special TV training courses,8(擴展句)In short, the effect of TV’s educational role is becoming more and more obvious.9(擴展句)
Having viewed these aspects, and with many more TV programs produced, I believe that our life will become even more significant.

            Best wishes
            Dear Sir,
I'm writing to tell you something about our discussion on the topic“Whether Middle School Students Can Carry Mobile phones (Cell phones)" at the class meeting.
Forty percent students agreed, for they thought it was convenient for them to communicate with their relatives and friends. They also thought they could surf the Internet to search for some information and store some useful information in the meantime. Besides, they could play games for rest if they feel tired after a long time's study. However, sixty percent of us were against it. They said the radiation of cellphones was harmful to health, and the ringing sound did somewhat affect the cellphone holders and others. Also, cellphones were luxurious things for middle school students and it was easy to lead them to compare with each other.
As far as I am concerned, I agree with the majority. It is not suitable for middle school students to have cellphones. We can get in touch with others by other means and we can read more books to enrich ourselves.
            Best wishes.

Our class held a discussion about whether music should be played during the break or not._________________________________________________________________
            ____________________________________________________________________
Our class held a discussion about whether music should be played during the break or not .The opinions are divided .
Most of the students think that music should be played. As we know, music can produce a lively and happy atmosphere. Besides , after hard study , music can bring us relaxation , which reduces the tiredness. This can help us make full preparations for the next class. Listening to music also makes us feel happy . On the other hand , some students don’t think so. In their opinion , they can’t get the expected effect from playing music , for the class break time is too short .What is needed most during the class break is peace instead of noise produced by music .
In my opinion , it is good to play some soft and peaceful music instead of loud music during the class break. In this way students can enjoy music as well as have a good rest. Besides, I suggest choosing some music that is suitable for middle school students.

            范文(One possible version):
This form displays the result of a survey on how to spend students’ weekend. It says that few students are glued to their schoolwork any more. Instead, they prefer to surf on the internet, watch TV, go shopping rather than involve in sports games. Library and interest groups are available but not favourable.
Personally I think, students are now freed from heavy burden but their spare time is not well arranged. They are expected to spend some time on what they learn instead of hanging out. More time should be spent not only on green field but also in the libraries to build up themselves physically and mentally. Besides, more interest groups should be established for students to widen their horizon and sharpen their brains so that they can become more creative eventually. All these will contributes a lot to a well-informed and highly qualified teenager.
In conclusion, students should be more scheduled with colorful and fruitful activities.

            Dear Editor,
Recently, I've collected some different opinions from my classmates about the program Super Girls or Happy Boys.
Some of them argue that it offers a good chance for young people to discover their own strong points as well as weaknesses. Meanwhile, it can get them ready for any challenges and enrich their life experiences. However, st)me of my classmates don't think so. They feel that it could mislead those youngsters. Especially to the school girls and boys, it may cause some troubles. For example, it may affect their study badly.
In my opinion, every coin has two sides. So long as we have a correct attitude and good self-control, it's still OK to join in it.
            Yours,
            Liu Ying
