    Although rapid globalization is bringing about win-win partnership far and near, it seems that weaker economies and cultures are being put in a more vulnerable and disadvantageous position, and in an uneven competition.

    From a more negative point of view, it is as if the role of globalization were to homogenize all economies and cultures, and turn them into commoditized markets, and therefore make them likely preys for global corporations to control.

    Even if otherwise being the case, globalization makes no sense whatever in areas where the average person is iliterate and living on less than one dollar a day.

    Furthermore, because globalization is supposed to thrive on sustained economic growth and solid cultural background, what good can it do to reportedly over one billion people on the earth not having safe water to drink?
