6月4日凌晨，陜西省鎮(zhèn)坪縣一名孕婦馮建梅因無錢交納4萬元的超生罰款，在鎮(zhèn)政府干部的強制要求下，被迫引產(chǎn)了已七個月的女嬰。目前涉事的三名官員已被停職。

    The city government of Ankang on Thursday evening apologized to a woman who underwent a forced abortion at a hospital in Northwest China's Shaanxi province, adding that officials who have been found to be responsible for the incident will be relieved of their duties.
    陜西省安康市政府周四晚向被在醫(yī)院強制引產(chǎn)的一名孕婦道歉，并稱將對對此事負(fù)責(zé)的官員做出停職處理。
    上面報道中的forced abortion就是“強制引產(chǎn)”，在這兒abortion是指人工terminate pregnancy(終止妊娠)，也可稱作induced abortion。我國現(xiàn)行的family planning policy(計劃生育政策)規(guī)定，引產(chǎn)只能在征得孕婦的written consent(書面同意)下進(jìn)行，且要堅決杜絕late-stage abortion(大月份引產(chǎn))。“超生人口”英文表達(dá)為extra births。
    與abortion之相對的是spontaneous abortion(自然流產(chǎn))，也叫miscarriage，是指gestational age(胎齡)不足28周、胎兒體重不足1000g而終止妊娠，其中在妊娠二十周以后流產(chǎn)，稱為preterm birth(早產(chǎn))，胎兒有可能存活。常見的自然流產(chǎn)種類還有threatened abortion(先兆流產(chǎn))、recurrent pregnancy loss (習(xí)慣性流產(chǎn))等。
