    何時使用零冠詞？
    1. 表示獨(dú)一無二的職位或頭銜的名詞在句中用作表語、賓語補(bǔ)足語、主語補(bǔ)足語或同位語時，其前一般不用冠詞。如：
    He was President of the Republic at that time. 那時，他是共和國的總統(tǒng)。
    2. 在介詞后表示抽象概念的名詞前一般不用冠詞。如：in prison坐牢；at school在學(xué)校；at sea出海；go to church做禮拜
    We had better send him to hospital at once.
    我們最好馬上把他送進(jìn)醫(yī)院。
    3. 為人所熟知的事物前一般不用冠詞。如：
    There’s no place like home. 任何地方都沒有家好。
    He has gone into town. 他已經(jīng)進(jìn)城去了。
    4. 單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞轉(zhuǎn)化為物質(zhì)名詞或抽象名詞時，其前一般不用冠詞。如：
    Do you like rabbit？ 你喜歡吃兔肉嗎？
    She said she cared a lot about face. 她說她很愛面子。
    5. 泛指人類或男女時，名詞前一般不用冠詞。 如：
    Man should help and love each other. 人類應(yīng)該互幫互愛。
    Woman has played an important role in modern society.
    婦女在現(xiàn)代社會中起著重要的作用。
    6. 表示語言或?qū)W科名稱的名詞前一般不用冠詞。如：
    The girl speaks English fluently.這女孩能講一口流利的英語。
    He is interested in Chemistry. 他對化學(xué)感興趣。
    7. 表示季節(jié)、月份、日期的名詞前一般不用冠詞。如：
    If winter comes， can spring be far behind？
    冬天來了，春天還會遠(yuǎn)嗎？
    School begins in September. 九月份開學(xué)。
    8. 某些并列結(jié)構(gòu)前不用冠詞。如：
    Husband and wife went to the movies yesterday. 夫婦倆昨天去看電影了。
    9. 某些固定習(xí)語中的名詞前不用冠詞。如：catch fire著火； lose heart喪失信心； by chance偶然地； in fear驚恐地； catch sight of 看見；make use of利用；等等。
