    although 是指雖然；盡管的意思。例如：Although I wanted him not to, he insisted on doing it. 雖然我不要他做，但他堅(jiān)持要做。這句話我們也可以說：Though I wanted him not to, he insisted on doing it. 在這里，我們可以用though代替although.although與 though作為連接詞在意義上沒有什么差別，都作“雖然”解釋，只是although比though 語氣強(qiáng)。although 或 though引導(dǎo)狀語從句，常采用省略形式。例如：Although tired, he kept on working. = Although he was tired, he kept on working.
    要注意的是，當(dāng) though = and yet 時(shí)，還是不用 although 代替為好。例如：No one is infallible, though there are some people who think they are. 每個(gè)人都回犯錯(cuò)誤，但是有些人自以為是不會犯錯(cuò)誤的。這樣用法的though 并不具有“讓步”的意思，而且有“轉(zhuǎn)折”的功能。
    full of sth 是固定搭配。它的一個(gè)意思是飽含的，充滿的。還有一個(gè)意思是指頭腦里充滿某想法的，只想著某事物的。例如：He was full of new ideas.他滿腦子都是新奇的想法。
