        前此舉出了不少片語動詞,供大家參考。這些片語動詞的共同點是,它們都是二字一體的,有些兩個字可以分開,有些不可分開,有些可以帶賓語,一些不可以帶賓語,林林總總,不一而足。
            這里要談的片語動詞,是由三個字組成的,方式是:動詞+副詞性虛詞+介詞。三字一體的片語動詞都是不可分開的,意思比較固定,都要帶賓語。
            下面便是些常見的例子:
            catch up with:趕上
            “If a taxi and a bus depart at the same time, the bus is always slower and cannot catch up with the taxi.”
