With the trend of development of our economy, our environmental problems become more and more severely prominent, which has tremendously constituted a restriction to our further development as well as a threat to our present living. To settle these problems, I think government and big firms play a crucial role.
    In terms of government, it can adopt various effective and efficient measures to eliminate the increasingly critical issues. To begin with, the government should enhance the overall sense of environmental protection of the public. It can provide abundant information about the serious consequences we will encounter if we go on spoiling our nature, how to conserve the already-damaged environment by handing out relevant booklets to the public, using bus or train or wall posters, mass media, etc. secondly, the government should set about coping with all kinds of pollutions the minute they get to know them, stopping the pollution worsening and stalking to more extensive areas. Last but not least, the government should go hand in hand with the legislature to lay out more legislation about environmental protection, consummating the whole legal system about environmentalism. Meantime, the government and court must ensure the legislation can be fully implemented!
    As with the companies, I think they should strictly comply with all the laws and regulations and spare no efforts to limit the pollutants they produce. Moreover, they should also renew their pollutant-dealing devices on a regular basis in order to lower the amount of contamination. All the enterprise, while giving their first priority to profits, should also place sufficient emphasis on the overall benefits of our whole society.
    Of course, when we highlight the great function our government and big corporations display, never should we overlook the impact we individuals have on our environment! We should assume our responsibility and elevate our sense of environmental conservation! We can start out from doing the smallest things in our daily life! For instance, we can avoid using the disposable chopsticks or we can recycle the garbage for reuse! Small deed can also exert far-reaching influence!
    Altogether, we should undoubtedly combine the government policies and guidelines with individual efforts together so as to cope with the pollution problems! Only by doing so can we truly regain a truly clean and healthy habitat !
