第二節(jié) 程度副詞much等
程度副詞much, still, far, a little, a bit 的特殊之處在于:可用來(lái)修飾比較級(jí),表示加強(qiáng)或減弱程度。 如: I’m much clearer about the situation now.
She’s not a bit more rational than you were.
注意:much不能加形容詞原形代替比較級(jí)
比如想說(shuō)更有耐心:不能夠說(shuō)much patient, 而應(yīng)該說(shuō)more patient;
同時(shí)more也不能替代much修飾比較級(jí),
比如要說(shuō)低得多:不能說(shuō)more lower , 而應(yīng)該說(shuō)much lower;
例句:She is far better than me at English. ( 在英語(yǔ)方面她比我好的多)
例題:

Watercolors dry more faster than other paints.
應(yīng)改為:much faster
