這話太不公平了！小白兔跳出來打抱不平：“小刺猬并不笨，每天夜里他都能捉幾只老鼠?！?BR> “捉老鼠有什么了不起？”小猴提高了嗓門喊道，“他能像我跑得那樣快嗎？能像我一樣爬上這棵樹嗎？”
大伙兒不吭聲了。小刺猬那圓乎乎的身子動了動，悄悄地退到一邊去了。
捉迷藏開始了。小白兔撒腿往草叢里跑，雪白的身子被長長的草遮住了。忽然，小白兔驚惶地尖叫起來：“蛇！蛇！”
小伙伴們都從藏身的地方跑出來，問蛇在哪兒？不等小白兔回答，那條蛇已經(jīng)爬到他們跟前了，身體又粗又長，三角形腦袋，嘴里的毒芯一伸一伸，還發(fā)出了“唿唿”的聲音，怪嚇人的。
小猴大喊一聲“快跑！”他第一個轉(zhuǎn)身就跑。小白兔、小松鼠和小鹿跟在后邊。蛇拉直了身體，拼命朝前追。經(jīng)過小刺猬跟前，小刺猬一下子咬住了蛇的尾巴，然后把頭縮進肚子底下。蛇把頭抬得高高的，兇狠地搖了搖，想咬死小刺猬。小刺猬一點兒也不害怕，還是緊緊地咬住蛇尾巴不放，蛇盤成一團，想絞死小刺猬。小刺猬鼓足勁，弓起背，全身的尖刺都豎起來。蛇的身上被刺了無數(shù)個小洞，掙扎幾下，最后一動也不動了。
小伙伴們都回來了，看到小刺猬把兇惡的大毒蛇給刺死了，大伙七都夸獎小刺猬：“多虧你救我們！”
“小刺猬不但能捉老鼠，還能斗毒蛇，真了不起！”
小猴紅著臉，低著頭說：“小刺猬，你真勇敢，我以前小看你了，請原諒我吧！”
