    1．I can't change a ten-pound note. 我找不開(kāi) 10英鎊的鈔票。
    這里 change是動(dòng)詞，意為“兌換”。change還可作名詞，意為“零錢(qián)”，如課文中的 I've got no small change, I'm afraid。此外，no +名詞表示所指的東西全然沒(méi)有。以上這句話比 I haven't got any small change更強(qiáng)調(diào)沒(méi)有任何一點(diǎn)兒零錢(qián)。

    以so 或 neither開(kāi)頭的簡(jiǎn)短回答，必須用倒裝形式，即： So／Neither +助動(dòng)詞+主語(yǔ)。假如前一句是肯定的，后一句就用so開(kāi)頭；如前一句是否定的，后一句則用neither／nor開(kāi)頭。前后兩句的時(shí)態(tài)要一致。
