套磁是提交美國高校的申請，必須要經(jīng)歷的步驟，而大家在進行選擇的時候，就要確認好自己的資格。今天和出國留學網(wǎng)來看看美國名校留學套磁要做好哪些準備？
    準備關鍵
    1.不要怕花時間，爭取多套一些學校，畢竟套磁的同時也可以選校；
    2.套磁的信盡量針對教授的研究領域進行一下修改，如果你對這個領域很有心得，可以加上。套磁信的末尾附上簡要版的CV；把套磁過的教授名字和信箱保留下來，有回復的標出來，哪怕是模版；對于沒有回復的教授，過一段時間換個信箱騷擾一下；
    3.對同一個學校同一個系的老師，每天盡量只套一個；如果過兩天還是沒有回復，再換一個套；可以從某個領域的大牛開始，找他的學生，這樣在套磁對象上容易尋找；通過閱讀論文提問的方法可以考慮，但是畢竟比較花費精力，大家酌情使用；套磁的時候可以多關注畢業(yè)沒多久的Assistant Professor；
    4.先從系里的老牛開始套（當然，要沒退休的）。一般來說他們的時間比較多，回信率不低。雖然他們大多數(shù)都不會招生，但是你可以請他們推薦幾個同專業(yè)的老師（有時候他們也會主動推薦）。這時候再聯(lián)系那些老師，套磁信里千萬不要亂表忠心，很容易引起反感，到時候想反悔也不好說?？梢钥紤]以詢問明年是否招生為名義，這樣比較合理，很多時候雖然沒套上，也能得到一些有利于選校的信息；
    5.聯(lián)系你感興趣的教授的中國學生也是個辦法。有些時候他們會把信轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)給老板或者其他教授，這樣就起到了吸引教授注意力的作用；很多時候還可以得到一些有價值的信息；
    6.中國老師也是一股不可小覷的力量，清華北大中科浙大的學生好申請就是因為人脈的原因。如果有私人關系，那就好辦多了。一定要充分利用。想想看北大有幾個人是非北大背景的，想想我們英語系當時有個山東大學的老師教我們散文，個人感覺他被北大幫擠兌死了，后來來了個留美的北大本科老師來代我們的散文課，系里那是一個夾道歡迎啊，回娘家的感覺。
    7.如果科研做的好，有參加國際會議的機會，一定不要放過。開會是最好的套磁地點。（不得不再提一下百年講堂什么的）多參加講座，每年都有不少國外教授來中國大學，利用講座機會多和他們聊聊。
    8.當做了所有努力還是一無所獲的時候，不要放棄，成功一定是當你嘗試過所有可能失敗的路徑并從中吸取教訓之后才獲得的，當然如果悟性高，也可以預先吸取前人經(jīng)驗從而避免失敗的發(fā)生。
