    1.eat v. 1.吃2.喝(湯)
    eat like a horse 暴飲暴食;狼香虎咽
    例句:He didhn't have breakfast, Now he is eating like a horse.
    他沒(méi)吃早飯，現(xiàn)在吃起來(lái)狼吞虎咽。
    eat like a pig 貪婪地吃(尤指吃時(shí)發(fā)出聲音)
    例句:Mind your table manners. You are eating like a pig .
    注意你的餐桌舉止。你吃飯的時(shí)候，像頭豬。
    eat one's words/hat 食言;承認(rèn)自己說(shuō)錯(cuò)了話，收回前言(to take back what one has said; say the one
    is sorry for having said something)
    例句:1.He boasted that no one could beat him at tennis, but he had to eat his words after
    losing several games.
    他吹牛說(shuō)網(wǎng)球誰(shuí)也贏不了他，可是輸了幾局比賽之后，他只能自食其言了。
    2.He said that he would definitely pass the exam, but he had to eat his words after failing the
     exam again.
    他說(shuō)他肯定會(huì)通過(guò)考試，但是考試又不及格后只好收回他的話。
    eat up 吃光;占用，當(dāng)“占用”意思時(shí)，它等于take up
    A:Are you going to join the chess club this year?
    A:你今年參加象棋俱樂(lè)部嗎?
    B:Chess eats up too much of my time.
    B:象棋占用了我太多的時(shí)間。
    2.lunch n. 午餐;午飯 v. 吃午餐
    A:I wish we had more time for lunch.
    A:我希望有更多的時(shí)間吃午飯。
    B:Me too. I get indigestion.
    B:我也是。我消化不良。
    3.watch n. 1.手表2.看著，監(jiān)視 v.1.注視，觀看2.看守
    stop watch 跑表，秒表
    例句:Will you please return my stop watch?
    你能不能把我的跑表還給我?
